When ordering a piece of jewelry from Twinklebird, the customer automatically agrees to our terms & conditions.
The information provided while placing an order is used only to complete the order. Any additional information provided about a gift recipient, when placing an order, is used solely with regards to the shipment of the product. Twinklebird does not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the order. Twinklebird never uses or shares any information provided online for other purposes than the ones described above.
3) JEWELRY CARE
Twinklebird crafts all jewelry carefully by hand, but, as with all jewelry, it needs to be looked after. Treat your jewelry with care, remove rings and bracelets when doing rough or physical work, and avoid contact with perfumes, creams and lotions. When acting with risk of getting hooked or injuring yourself or someone else, the jewelry shoeld be taken off before any accident could happen. Children’s jewelry should be looked after by their parents. It’s the responsibility of the parents to ensure the jewelry will be worn safely. Twinklebird is never responsible for damage to the jewelry caused by uncareful use, getting hooked, violence or abuse. Neither is Twinklebird ever responsible for physical injuries caused by the jewelry.
All jewelry is charged at prices shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order. These prices include VAT but exclude delivery costs, which will be added to the total amount due as set out in our invoice. International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the customer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. Prices are correct at time of publication, errors and omissions excepted. Orders will be processed at the published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding. All prices are stated in Euro’s (€). Customers living in countries without the Euro (€) as their national currency, must be aware of extra costs their bank will probably charge for making a booking in Euro’s.
5) ORDERING INFORMATION
You can easily order, by using the green’order-button’ you will find aside the particular jewelry of your choice. Just follow the ordering steps, by filling in the required information. You will receive a confirmation of your order by email. For customers in the Netherlands who paid with ‘iDEAL’, this email is just a confirmation of their order. For customers outside the Netherlands this confirmation gives an overview of your order, including delivery costs and further payment instructions. When ordering a piece of jewelry from Twinklebird’s website, the customer automatically agrees to our terms & conditions. After your payment is received, your order will be taken care off right away. Twinklebird will send a notification by email of when your package will be dispatched.
When you live in the Netherlands you can easily pay with iDEAL. This payment system transfers you to your own safe online banking system. Payment for orders from outside the Netherlands, is possible by prepayment only. After ordering you will receive an email with information about your order and further payment instructions. After your payment is received, your order will be taken care off right away. Twinklebird will send a notification by email of when your package will be dispatched. Twinklebird doesn’t accept personal cheques. At the moment it’s only possible to order from any country in Europe and from the United States and Canada. If you live outside these countries, but would wish to purchase an item, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for the accurate shipping costs.
7) DELIVERY WITHIN THE NETHERLANDS
Twinklebird makes sure your order is not only packaged securely and safely, but also looks beautiful in every way. Your piece of jewelry will be shipped to you in a lovely white box with light grey Twinklebird imprint. In the Netherlands, orders under € 75,- will be sent by regular TNT mail. Orders over € 75,- will be sent as a registered item*. * Registered mail is insured, and will be delivered to the addressee personally who will have to sign for it. You will receive a ‘Track &Trace code’ from TNT Post as well. With this code, you are able to follow your parcel at any moment. You just have to fill in the code at: www.tracktrace.nl
8) DOMESTIC DELIVERY COSTS
Delivery costs within the Netherlands: Regular TNT mail: € 4,50 or registered TNT mail: € 7,50
9) INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
Twinklebird makes sure your order is not only packaged securely and safely, but also looks beautiful in every way. Your piece of jewelry will be sent to you in a lovely white box with light grey Twinklebird imprint. The parcel will be sent with Priority Service. The addressee will be required to sign for receipt. All payments must be received before your order will be processed. Delivery within Europe will take about 2 to 3 workingdays after shipment. Delivery outside Europe will take about 4 to 7 workingdays after shipment. You will receive a ‘Track &Trace code’ from TNT Post. With this code, you are able to follow your parcel at any moment. You just have to fill in the code at: www.tracktrace.nl
10) INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY COSTS
Delivery charges for countries within Europe, the United States and Canada are only 7,50 euro per order! 11) DELIVERY INFORMATION
Most of jewellery is specially handcrafted after you order. As a result of this, please allow 1 – 2 weeks from placing your order to receipt of your jewelry. The 14ct solid gold jewelry may take slightly longer to make – up to 3 weeks. Some products which are in stock will be sent in the same week your payment arrives. Other items, like custom made rings, will take longer. On the website, every piece of jewelry shows an indication of delivery time. 12) CHANGING OR CANCELING YOUR ORDER
If you want to change, or cancel your order, please notify Twinklebird on the same day your order is placed. Please contact Twinklebird by e-mail or phone. Changing or canceling your order is only possible when your order has not been dispatched yet, or (in case of a custom made item) production has not started yet.
13) RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
All of our jewelry is hand made specially to your requirements, so Twinklebird is unable to offer refunds, unless the item is faulty. When ordering a ring, it is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that they have ordered the correct size. A ring ordered in the incorrect size can possibly be re-sized, but this will be subject to a charge. If you should receive a faulty or damaged item, please notify Twinklebird within seven days. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org providing your name and address, details of the product, the reason for return and whether you require a refund or replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. The item must be sent back in it’s original box and in unworn condition. Twinklebird will then arrange the exchange. The item is the recipient’s responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. Twinklebird cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit. If you are returning an item to us for a refund or an exchange, the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Your original postage costs will not be refunded unless the item you received was sent in error or is faulty (providing we are notified of faults within 7 days of receipt). We will not exchange goods that have been worn, do not have their original packaging or show obvious signs of abuse. In this instance, the goods will be returned to the buyer at his own cost. In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued to the same bank account from which it originated within 28 days of receipt of the return. Send the package to:
